Fees

We believe in fair prices and letting you know all the rental fees up front.  Click here for a list of building rules that all weddings at Grace Lutheran are expected to follow.

 

Required Fees For All Weddings

 

Hold the Date Deposit: $ 150.00 (Refundable, unless you cancel your wedding with less than 60 days’ advance notice)  Your wedding date will be not be held on our calendar until applications have been submitted and approved and the $150 deposit received.

 

Security Deposit:  $ 500.00 (Refundable in full or in part depending on compliance with attached policies and Rules for Use of Facilities, Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church)

 

Wedding Liaison: All wedding parties, even if you have your own wedding planner, are required to have a Wedding Liaison from Grace Church.  Grace’s Wedding Liaison will be at the site during the wedding and wedding rehearsal to answer questions about space, unlock doors, ensure the wedding party, catering staff and guests properly sort the trash, (compost and recycling), and ensure that the bathrooms are properly stocked and clean during your event.   The fee for this service is $250 and includes unlocking the site for the wedding rehearsal, and one site visit.  An additional $35 fee will be added for further unlocking.

 

Wedding & Reception Rental

 

Sanctuary (with Grace's Pastor Officiating): Regular fee - $ 800.00 (1hr for the rehearsal; 4 hrs the day of the wedding).  Additional fee - Extra hours at the rate of $200/hr

 

Sanctuary (with Outside Pastor Officiating): Regular fee - $ 950.00 (1hr for the rehearsal; 4 hrs the day of    the wedding).  Additional fee - additional hours at the rate of $200/hr

 

Sanctuary and Parish Hall: Regular fee - $1,950.00 (Sanctuary Use: 1hr for the rehearsal,4 hrs the day of the wedding; Fellowship Hall: 8hrs including set-up and clean-up).  Additional fee - additional hours renting the Sanctuary at the rate of $200/hr; additional hours renting the Fellowship Hall at the rate of $125/hr

 

Brotherhood Hall (Small Chapel or Wedding Party Gathering Space):  Regular fee: $150 (4 hrs).  Additional fee - additional hours at the rate of $50/hr

 

 

Optional Additional Items

 

Use of Piano: $100

 

Pastor: Pastor  $250 for Officiating at Wedding.  $50 each session of pre-marital counseling (up to six sessions may be required)

 

Organ or Pianist:  $150 (for wedding service)

 

Vocalist: $ 75 - $100 (maximum of 2 songs)

 

Janitorial Services: If you don't want to do your own clean up after your wedding reception, janitorial fees for the receptions in the fellowship hall are as follows: $200 for parties with 1-50 individuals; $275 for parties with 51-100 individuals; and $350 for parties with 101-150 individuals.  Additional fees will be added for any wax spills, carpet stains, oven cleaning or damage to property that may take place during the event.

 

 

Fees For Damages or Rule Breaking

 

Cleaning and Spills: The following fees will also be taken out of the deposits of renters who fail to complete any of these tasks before leaving the space.  Renters are encouraged to meet with the Wedding Liaison at the end of their event and complete Grace’s end of event checklist to ensure the church is fully cleaned and they will not be subject to additional cleaning fees.  Fees for this service are as follows:

 

* Kitchen, Brotherhood Hall or Sanctuary Cleaning (a separate charge for each room):  $25

* Fellowship Hall Cleaning: $350

* Bathroom Cleaning: $25

* Tables and Chairs Set-Up and Break-Down: $50

* Oven cleaning: $100   

* Candle Wax: $35 for each spill

* Carpet stains: $50 for each spill

* Garbage Sorting: $50

* Emptying trash cans at the end of the event: $25

Support

Our wedding coordinator works with each couple to ensure that vendors and wedding party are able to access the church for set-up, rehersal and to troubleshoot during the wedding.
